Tommy Fredricks With His Monster Catfish!!!

I talked to Tommy about this awesome flathead catfish. If this fish had been caught on a rod and reel it would have been the All Tackle World Record Flathead Catfish hands down. The current record stands at 123 pounds and this beast would have shadowed that by 12 more pounds. Can you imagine trying to reel this beast in in the underwater forest of Santee!!! You better have some strong line and a good rod and reel cause this baby is a Hoss! The thing that was really odd about this Giant Flathead Cat is when he was caught.

You Gotta See This Catfish!!!

Tom Frederick of Wedgefild, South Carolina caught this huge flathead on a trotline.
He estimated its weight at around 135 pounds and it was 6 feet, 4 inches long. It took them two hours go get this Monster Flathead to shore. This very well could have been the current World Record Flathead had it been caught on a rod and reel.
